ALL SAINT'S CONCERT · MUSIC TO COMORT AND HEAL

On Sunday October 31st, the London Nordic Choir rejoined to perform for the first time since the start of the pandemic. With the hope to comfort and heal − and share a moment of calm − the choir sang music by composers such as Orlando di Lasso, Frank Ticheli and Ola Gjeilo. Thank you all for coming & for sharing that special evening with us!

LUX MUNDI · FREDRIK SIXTEN*

The world premiere of the new choral piece by Fredrik Sixten, set to be performed in both London and Stockholm, had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The London Nordic Choir commissioned a choral piece by composer Fredrik Sixten, together with The English Baroque Choir . With the intent to inspire hope, unity & compassion his response, Lux Mundi, is a breath-taking journey in three movements, Faith, Hope & Love, filled with exquisite harmonies, soaring melodies & intricate rhythms.

*Fredrik Sixten (born 21 October 1962) is a Swedish composer, cathedral organist and conductor. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (1986) at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm, and is recognised as one of Sweden's best-known composers of church music.
